Prior to 2003, my main scholarly output was that of a typical research geo-scientist, mainly peer-reviewed journal articles in the best journals I could find. Since then, most of my scholarly write is peer reviewed through the book process, which involves an anonymous proposal review, manuscript review, published reviews, and general use.
