Tablechart RMT 10b – Concord River Discharges by Month
These are histograms of the data set collected by the USGS at the gaging station at the mouth of the Concord River in Lowell. The idea is to use good data to characterize the flow regime, and make the assumption that it was broadly equivalent to that of Thoreau’s era. Particularly important are high discharges in June, July, and August, which ruined the hay and gave Thoreau inland lakes.
